November Meeting: 'Emphasize good employee communication'
PORT ORANGE – More than 40 members and guests attended the Nov. 12 meeting of the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of F.P.R.A. held on the campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange. Ron Hess of Motiv8 Communications in Port Orange was the featured speaker. Hess’ presentation focused on the 10 employee communication traits of high performing organizations which included guidelines on communicating with employees in difficult economic times.

 “A lot of businesses drive organizational excellence to improve and distinguish themselves financially and with customers. But a recent study by international consulting firm Randstad and Harris Interactive showed only 32 percent of employees believe their own company has the ability to achieve organizational excellence, rating poor communication as the lead cause for failure,” said Hess.
