Black Crow Broadcasting received 2005 Great Communicator

Black Crow Broadcasting accepted the 2005 Great Communicator Award February 8, 2005, at the LPGA clubhouse.

While the award typically goes to one person, the radio company gained notice by the Volusia Chapter (now Volusia-Flagler) of the Florida Public Relations Assn. for its continuous coverage and service to the community during hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne in 2004.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to about 40 public information officers from Volusia and Flagler Counties who worked around the clock to keep the media informed during the historic 2004 hurricane season.

The annual great communicator award was to honor those who demonstrated strong communication skills and service to the community.
